Maddi Gonzalez is a Mexican-American cartoonist and illustrator from the Rio Grande Valley. Maddi has been nominated for two Ignatz Awards.

Maddi’s debut as a graphic novel illustrator, TIFFANY’S GRIFFON (written by Magnolia Porter-Siddell) was published in 2024 with First Second Books. It has received a positive critical response, including a Kirkus Starred Review.

Maddi has released two books under the GOOSEBUMPS GRAPHIX series: THE HAUNTED MASK and MONSTER BLOOD. The third Goosebumps Graphix book will be released in fall 2026.

Maddi is currently working with her fiancé, Spencer Amundson, on his major publishing debut as a comic artist.
